Program #0452A Best of TGCL for Monday, January 21, 2013: Catholics and Scripture

Catholics and Scripture

Catholics and Scripture

The Good Catholic Life is observing Martin Luther King Day today, so we’re bringing you one of our favorite episodes. We will return on January 22 with an all-new show.

Today we bring you an encore presentation of our discussion with Prof. Stephen Fahrig of St. John’s Seminary. The study and contemplation of Scripture among Catholics has made steady progress in recent decades, but Prof. Fahrig tells Scot Landry and Fr. Chris O’Connor, recording on location at St. John’s Seminary, that Catholics can learn to appreciate the Bible even more. They discuss the five facts every Catholic should know about the Bible; what it means for it to be divinely inspired; how to pray using the Scriptures; and what resources Catholics can use in their study of the Bible.

Complete shownotes may be found on the original airdate’s show page.
